On invitation of Gangwon Cultural Foundation, members of the Künstlerhaus Vereinigung and their project partners address and combine important issues in the given context and of actual future visions under the curation of Tanja Prušnik. They show architectural and artistic models of the future and offer related questions from past and present. The interdisciplinary presentation is dedicated to currently burning questions about sustainability, humanism, respectful treatment of non-human world and socially relevant future models. The exhibition includes film positions by Martin Roth (1977–2019).

The exhibition LONGING FOR FUTURE_TIME, SPACE, EXISTENCE under the framework of the Künstlerhaus was exhibited for six months in the program in Venice during the Architecture Biennale 2023. Due to the great public interest and the topicality of the exhibition theme, it was also exhibited in Rome in March–May 2024, at the invitation of the Forum Austriaco di Culture Roma. Martin Roth can be seen as one of the pioneers of the currently very active art activist scene, which advocates for the preservation of our environment in the name of climate protection. Last but not least, the subject of his artistic curiosity were human-caused changes in nature and ecological upheavals.

With the kind support of the Austrian Embassy in Seoul

The Austrian Artists' Association Künstlerhaus holds exhibitions of exceptional quality. Since 1861 it has maintained a creative field of tension and exchange between art and architecture. The building of the Association bears witness to this history. Completely revamped, after renovation from 2017 to 2020 by Haselsteiner Familien Privat Stiftung, reopened Künstlerhaus now proudly shows its splendid face. Work and activities within the Association aim to enhance its presence and visibility.
